Life is like a truncheon,
A batton passed on and on by authority figures,
By role models,
By good,
Pretty,
Clever people,

Life is like a truncheon,
Hitting you into a queue,
A queue to the end of life,
A twisted,
Distorted,
Queue,

Life is like a truncheon,
Held by a power tripped aggressive man,
Beating you up whenever he gets the chance,
Beating you into shape,
Into life 

Life is like a truncheon,
Bruising you with bad and good memories,
Memories that fade,
Heal,
Change,
